With complaints of misfires present; some fouled plugs and a broken wire were found suspect on this Mustang. We replaced the plugs and wires, also replaced the fuel filter and now the car is running much better.
The 4 barrel carb on this Ford 460 was in need of a rebuild; sticky components and floating gunk in the bowls were signs it hadn’t been done in a while. A thorough cleaning and some idle and mixture adjustments got this engine running happily again.
