What to Expect During Your Dyno Tune at Fast Specialties:

Thank you for considering Fast Specialties for your dyno tuning. Here’s what you can expect during the process:

  1. Pre-Tune Inspection: Before we begin tuning, our technicians will perform a thorough inspection of your vehicle. This helps us ensure everything is in working order and ready for the dyno session.
  2. Initial Dyno Testing (if applicable): If your vehicle has not been previously dyno’d, or is in good enough running order, we will perform an initial baseline dyno run to measure current power output. This helps us understand your car’s starting performance and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Dyno Tuning Process: Using the baseline data, we’ll adjust your vehicle’s engine management system or carburetor for optimal performance. This includes refining factors like fuel delivery, ignition timing, air-fuel ratios, and more to safely maximize horsepower and torque.
  4. Post-Tune Testing & Results: After tuning, we will perform a final dyno run to confirm power gains and make any final adjustments. You will receive a printed report detailing the results of the dyno runs, as well as a photo and video of your car up on the dyno.

Initial Financial Authorization:

For the dyno tuning process, we ask for an initial authorization of up to $1,200 (no upfront payment needed). This covers:

  1. Pre-dyno inspection
  2. Baseline dyno (if applicable)
  3. Dyno tuning
  4. Printed results
  5. Photo and video of your car on the dyno

We only charge for the time spent tuning, but the $1,200 authorization helps us proceed quickly and efficiently. Sometimes, during the dyno process, we identify issues that need to be addressed (e.g., spark plugs, wires, fuel pumps, relays, MAF sensors). Having the initial authorization in place allows us to address these issues without delays, saving you time and money.

If any additional issues are identified that will exceed the $1,200 authorization, we will contact you before proceeding with any extra work. These issues are usually discovered early in the tuning process, so we can reach out promptly.

Please fill out this form to the best of your ability and include a photo of both your vehicle's exterior as well its engine bay.
