Got a call from a customer who was complaining of their speedometer being off by a significant amount and not having quite as much punch as it should have. We discovered the car had an aftermarket air intake and the previous owner may have had a tune but it did not come with the vehicle. A new SCT tuner allowed us to calibrate the car for the present mods and brought the speedo back to where its supposed to be after a reflash. We are one of the few SCT dealers in the region who actually write custom tune files for each individual customer’s car. Tuners are a great foundation for any car as they grow with the car for any future mods and double as a diagnostic tool for check engine lights.
