Performance tuning – ’04 Cobra

With only 7200 miles – this ’04 Cobra ran like a dream. But the owner wanted the power up even more so with Kenne Bell blower that was put on, we also added fuel pump upgrades as well as performed custom tuning to make it scream.IMG_0753 IMG_0750

2009 Dodge Challenger R/T

This awesome Hemi Orange Challenger came down to us all the way from Spokane, WA to have some issues worked out. IMG_0123

After having a Stage 3 cam from Comp Cams installed; the factory MDS was causing loss of power and performance. We created a tune file for the vehicle disabling the MDS and were able to tune the Hemi to make power to an impressive 6390 rpm as opposed to the 5200 rpm limit when we first got it.

After making a strong 403 horsepower run on the dyno; the customer was happy with the results and the car is going to be turning heads with its new lumpy idle and howl from the Corsa exhaust out the back. Under the hood shows the custom painted engine cover in classic Hemi orange.

331 stroker motor tuning

Here we have a 331 stroker motor nestled in the engine bay of a ’65 Mustang that was brought here for some tuning and sorting out. Setting up the carb, dialing in the timing, and adjusting air and fuel mixtures make it a much better runner now.

2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 – CAI and tune

A perfect starter package for your modern daily driver or pride and joy; a cold air intake and tuner are a great pair that delivers performance you can feel and a sound you will love. Factory intakes have several pathways and air restrictors inside of them to slow down and in some cases block airflow for a quiet, almost no-noise intake sound.

While that may be preferred for some, the rest of us like hearing our V-8s breathe. Call today to get your quote on a tuner and CAI package today!

1968 Dodge Dart GTS

In for some timing and carb adjustments is a super cool and clean ’68 Dart; 340 4 speed car. A properly spec’d carb, jetted and calibrated for the engine, and some distributor work made a nice, easy to drive car that now runs as good as it looks.

Roush Stage 2 tuning

We had a car dealership up near Seattle contact us regarding our tuning services for a Roush Mustang they had traded in. Someone had installed an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger; but never had it tuned and never included a tuner. Immensely underpowered and running poorly; we retuned the vehicle with an SCT tuner and made it into a reliable, power making machine.

Mustang Mach 1 tuning

This Mach 1 Mustang is equipped with a Procharger and was tuned via a “canned” tune. Although that would’ve been good enough for some; this customer has his sights set on crushing the 1,320; so long tube headers and a custom dyno tune were on the work order.

Custom tuning

Here at Fast Specialties the 1750SE Mustang Dyno is the heart of our tuning capability. When it comes to performance evaluation we believe this machine to be head and shoulders above other machines on the market. Our modified 4 post lift allows the dyno to accept long bed and dually trucks without pulling the rear wheels. It will handle and record over 2000whp and statically absorb 500HP, basically whatever you can throw at it, and while running a car for a HP number is fun, its the machines ability to simulate load, maintain steady speeds, and readout torque in real time that makes it such a powerful tuning tool.

The dyno gives us the ability to control the testing environment, but you have to be able to manipulate the car to realize any true performance improvements. Here at Fast Specialties we utilze a wide range of tuning systems. SCT, Diablosport, Megasquirt, Holley, Fast, Accell, and a slew of others. Is your car carbureted? If so we have you covered there as well. Holley modular carbs, Edelbrock/AFB, Weber, Solex, Mikuni, 1 carb, or multi carb, turbo charged/supercharged blow-through or draw-through, e-85, propane, or pump gas, again, you name it and we have probably tuned it.
