Fast Specialties has been the Pacific Northwest’s trusted Ford performance shop since 2005. While we’ve earned a reputation for expertise across multiple domestic and import platforms, our roots run deep in Ford performance. From classic carbureted Mustangs and Broncos to modern Coyote-powered monsters, Raptors, and late-model F-150s, we’ve spent decades building, tuning, and refining Blue Oval V8 platforms of every generation.
Whether you drive a Fox Body Mustang, SN95, S197, S550, a restored F-100, a first-gen Lightning, or a new Bronco Raptor, no shop in the Portland/Vancouver region has more hands-on Ford horsepower experience than Fast Specialties.
If it says Ford on the badge and has a V8 under the hood, we’ve built it, swapped it, wired it, plumbed it, or tuned it.
Whipple Superchargers
We’ve installed and tuned dozens of supercharger systems on Mustangs and F-150s — including Whipple kits, which are a popular high-performance upgrade. It’s important to understand that while Ford Performance superchargers often include a limited parts warranty when registered with Ford, the installation of these and other aftermarket forced-induction systems does not automatically extend or maintain the vehicle’s factory powertrain warranty and warranty considerations vary by dealer and vehicle.
From 450 hp daily drivers to 1,000 hp street cars, we’ve seen it all and know which combinations actually work for drivers in Portland and Vancouver
Bronco owners, classic or new, get a massive performance bump with the right combination of parts and tuning, and we’ve built dozens of setups for real-world use. Check out this Bucking Awesome Bronco Build
Whether it’s a mild towing tune, a full engine build, or off-road suspension upgrades, we know what keeps Ford trucks reliable and powerful.
No matter the generation, we make your Ford run better than stock.
We see this constantly. It almost always costs customers more in diagnostic time than buying quality injectors with complete data from the start.
Our lead tuner started his career building engines for Aldridge Motorsports, one of the Northwest’s most respected Ford engine builders — giving Fast Specialties technical depth most shops simply don’t have.
We’ve diagnosed, repaired, and improved more Ford builds than most shops will ever see. Our experience saves customers thousands by avoiding parts that fail, don’t fit, or don’t cooperate with Ford ECU strategies.
We work on a wide range of Ford performance platforms — from classic Fox Body Mustangs and Broncos to modern Coyote-powered Mustangs, Raptors, Lightnings, Broncos, and F-Series trucks. We also handle crate engines, custom swaps, and performance builds of many generations.
Installing Ford Performance Parts (including supercharger kits) does not automatically void your factory warranty. Ford Performance Parts come with their own limited warranty and are engineered for compatibility, but if an aftermarket part directly causes a problem, coverage related to that issue may be denied. Warranty determinations are made on a case-by-case basis.
Yes — Ford Performance/Whipple supercharger kits typically include a limited warranty (often 3 years or 36,000 miles from installation) on the supercharger components when purchased from an authorized dealer and registered. Warranty specifics vary by kit
Ford ECUs depend on precise injector characterization (like high/low slope, breakpoint curves, voltage response, etc.) for correct fueling. Without proper data (which cheap injectors often lack), you can see drivability issues like erratic idle, poor cold starts, and fuel trim drift — costing more in tuning time than quality injectors upfront.
Yes — we tune everything from carbureted 289/302/351W engines to modern Coyote 5.0s. We use proven tools (HP Tuners, SCT) and custom wiring/harness integration when needed to dial in idle, drivability, and full performance.
Absolutely — we install and tune Whipple, ProCharger, and Vortech superchargers, as well as custom turbo systems for classic and modern Ford platforms. We also build custom forced induction setups for unique projects.
Yes — including Coyote swaps into Mustangs, Broncos, and F-100s, automatic-to-manual conversions (T56, TR6060, MT-82), performance builds (NA, boosted, stroker), cooling upgrades, driveline improvements, and full suspension fabrication.
We support both classic and 2021+ Broncos with V8 swaps, EFI conversions (Holley Sniper II, Terminator X), intake/exhaust systems, suspension and ride-height upgrades, gearing and drivetrain improvements, and Bronco Raptor-specific performance setups.
Yes — in-house dyno tuning is part of our process to ensure power goals are met and the engine runs safely and efficiently after modifications.
With 20+ years of Ford-focused experience, deep Mustang and truck expertise, certified supercharger installations, honest guidance, and hands-on dyno tuning, we help customers avoid costly mistakes and get real performance results.
